Having the most Requested video clip EVER on the Country Music Channel was quite a coup for the Telstra Road To Tamworth Winner, Aleyce Simmonds.
The clip of Aleyce’s prize winning single, Mighty Mighty Love, reached the coveted 1 spot on the CMC chart in October 2005.
Aleyce has spent years developing her singing and songwriting and thanks to the Telstra Road To Tamworth, signed a development deal with Sony BMG Music Australia.
Aleyce has been working with Producer/Songwriter Rod McCormack, working toward her debut release in 2009.
Writing with some of Australia and America’s finest songwriters has given Aleyce a great insight into what it takes to be a serious songwriter dedicated to her craft.
During this time Aleyce has been touring around the country with Adam Harvey, Graeme Connors and Anthony Callea to name a few. In late 07 Aleyce joined forces with 3 of her best friends Dianna Corcoran, Kirsty Lee Akers and Amber Lawrence to tour as 'Chic Frontier' - continuing to develop a solid fan base who eagerly await her album.
