aLfa.P (best known as Antony P) was born in Athens, Greece. Antony P is involved with music as a composer and audio producer. As a composer, he started his career with the band Stereo Nova till 1996. As a member of Stereo Nova he released a few albums and several Singles that he will recall if necessary.
TV-Head LP was his first solo album, released in 1998 (Capp Records). In 1999, Antony P along with Andriana TooT, formed the band Supermarket. In 2000, Supermarket released the album 55 (Capp Records). 55 is an instrumental work exploring the borders of new electronics. In 2003 Supermarket, in collaboration with the singer and song writer Panos Tzafos, released the album Plasticine (E-Terra). Plasticine is well dedicated to electronica.
Thereafter aLfa.p spent some years composing music for video installations in collaboration with video artists Nina Kotamanique and Mag Touliatou. Their work took part in several Video Festivals in Berlin, London, Korea e.t.c.
Part of his work is writing music for dance companies in which, some of his collaborations involve live interactive music performances. In 2006 aLfa.P and Andriana TooT performed live with the dance company Lemurious, for the dance project Human Dimensions, at the Athens International Dance Festival. In 2007 they collaborated with the dance company Landscape, for the dance project Mind the gap, by Ioanna Parali at Theseum Theatre. They also composed the music for the dance project Apollo 13 by Motel Griffon.
