If you've already listened to the songs above you won't need me to tell you that Alfie is a unique talent with an extraordinary voice who writes songs that are immediate, yearning, relevant and a blast of fresh air in the current climate of muggy mediocrity.
He moved to Camden, North London in July of this year and immediately started writing songs inspired by his journey, his environment and his variety of influences cherry picked from every decade of the last fifty years.
I met him by chance in Camden's The Hawley Arms where he recommended I listen to his myspace site. That night I listened and called him first thing the next day. He was asleep but called me back on waking around lunchtime and wasted no time in telling me what he was doing, why he was doing it and where he was going. I tended to agree and within a very short space of time he was playing gigs around London and winning converts with every strum of his glittering, spangled, space-dust fuelled guitar...

Camden, yes! i hope that i will be able to come there in the summer (thinking about august)... i am very much into trying to get some songs started to rock it the glam way with you!
What are you sick with matey? Sorry to hear that. Hope it's not your voice. That used to be a constant problem for me, going out most night, being run down and then picking any viruses up soooo easily. I'm going to try and come and watch you tonight. I like what i've heard. You're right, very Bolan/Bowie. How long have you been performing for?
Hey. Really like your songs man. Sorry i missed your set, I was feeling abit sick b4 we went on so had to go home to rest before. Wish i saw it now. See ya around. Claude. x
