Alfonso was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. He is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and has lead different bands throughout the years. He holds a degree in Music therapy from the Berklee College of Music, and a MA in psycho-therapy from the San Diego University for integrative studies.
Alfonso has just released his debut, self-produced album "trazos de Ser" which was recorded and mixed at Strate Sound studios, by Alan Sanderson (Elton John, Rolling Stones, Weezer, Fiona Apple,...).
The album features 12 original songs which take the listener on a journey through different kinds of emotional landscapes, moods and atmospheres, accompanied by reflections about the inner territories of human experience.
The songs in the album come from a place that is deep and hopeful, in which the desire for life, for freedom and for love is stronger than the experience of suffering and pain.
