His name is synonymous with Chicago drum n bass and one of Americas largest drum n bass music groups the M.I.A. (murda In america) with over 20 members all over the country. Since the early 90's Alfonz has been djing and promoting jungle/drum n bass music. He has played along side the worlds best drum n bass djs including Andy C, Ed Rush & Optical, Black Sun Empire, Concord Dawn, DJ Swamp, Aphrodite, Bad Company, Krs One, Evol Intent, Gein, Ewun. He has headlined all over the country and has played marquee nights such as Respect in Los Angeles and the original Konkrete Jungle at the pyrimid in New York City. Recently he has linked up with fellow M.I.A. comrade MC Infinity from Akron, Ohio to form Hired Guns a high energy dj + mc group geared toward smashing the dance floor. The concept of the release at a first listen, is to propose the freshest and most catchy/actual sounds around the dnb scene right now The EP opens with Scelerat by Kriotek. The title says it all, real fast and insane beats for the most twisted Kaiza with his collaboration with Shots proposes a choice of minimal sounds with a particular vibe. Speaking about great collabs we propose another "Immoral" one made from K-Rob and Kevlar, And last but not least Krustov, with a fast merciless techno-dnb tune. All the tracks in this ep are heterogeneous but connected by an extremely creative method that can tell the skills of every artist involved.
