BlackEnterprise.com Editor Alfred Edmond Jr.'s Interests
General
Self-improvement, wealth-building, health & fitness, the drug-free bodybuilding lifestyle, ministering to the needs of others. I love black people and am passionate about doing what needs to be done to heal, strengthen and advance our people and communities. Yes, I am what is still known in some circles as a "race man." (Brother IS gonna work it out!) I also pursue natural bodybuilding (drug free, no steroids) as a hobby (it's my version of golf) and have even participated in a few local bodybuilding competitions. I am an active alum of Rutgers University, a co-founder of the .. Rutgers African American Alumni Alliance, a 2005 inductee into the RAAA African American Alumni Hall of Fame and a 2007 inductee into the Loyal Sons and Daughters of Rutgers. I am also a 1996 inductee into the Long Branch High School Distinguished Alumni Academic Hall of Fame. I also love to help and encourage others, particularly young people, to succeed, and spend a lot of time as an advisor, cheerleader, confidant and key contact for more than 30 mentees (and counting).

About me:
I am the editor-in-chief of BlackEnterprise.com
.. blackenterprise.com and a senior vice president of Earl Graves Ltd., a multimedia company dedicated to providing business, financial and career development information and inspiration to African Americans who want to succeed as entrepreneurs, investors, professionals and, most of all, wealth builders. (Click here for my .. official bio.) Our mission is no less than closing the wealth gap in black America and to help African Americans to adopt the values and behaviors necessary to build multigenerational wealth.
As the editor of BlackEnterprise.com, I am one of several editors who travel the country to lead seminars on wealth building and financial empowerment, speaking to churches, professional associations, colleges, high schools and corporate groups. (Check my calendar for periodic announcements of such public appearances). You can also catch me each Wednesday afternoon during the "Your Money" segment of The Ride with Doug Banks & DeDe McGuire syndicated radio show.
On the personal front, I am a committed Christian who loves Jesus and strives to hold up his end in a truly personal relationship with God. As such, I approach my work at Black Enterprise as my ministry. Being of service to others is, for me, a key core value and a major source of personal motivation.
