About me: The mission of American Liver Foundation (ALF) is to
facilitate, advocate and promote education, support and research for the prevention, treatment and cure
of liver disease.
The Wisconsin Chapter was initially organized by a group of dedicated volunteers and became the Wisconsin Chapter in 1997. The chapter opened its first office and hired an Executive Director January 2, 2000. Since its conception the Wisconsin Chapter has strived to educate the state on the more than 100 liver diseases that affect over 500,000 of our citizens. We continue to this day to support those affected, educate those who are at risk, and share information so more of our great Wisconsinites understand the true face of liver disease!
The Wisconsin Chapter runs educational programs, support groups, and fund raising events throughout the state of Wisconsin. Our goal is to educate more people about liver disease and liver wellness. We also serve as a resource for liver health information. Help us spread the word by telling everyone you know about the Wisconsin Chapter.

heya ! just popping in to say hey.. i got 6 years 7 months sobriety under my belt woo hoo !
never have the attitude " oh man, i have to go the rest of my life without drinking !? " you will never stay sober. instead think about all of the things that you can accomplish in your future while keeping you mind off of the bottle. you will be surprised how fast time goes while sober, once you reach the first year. The best to all of you with the will and the strength to overcome one of life's most difficult challenges. ~G
I just got back from the U.S. Transplant Games....I am forever changed by the experience:) Thank you for all you do in promoting organ donation and awareness..for without you, I would not be alive today:) xoxo
