The New ALBUM!
ALIAS were formed in 2001. They are four musicians who have a special chemistry, which creates a magical live performance. If you get the chance to see them live you will get to see exactly what there all about.
There debut album titled 'Trick Of The Light' was recorded @ 'Bob Lambs' studio who produced early UB40 material.
The newly released album titled "Breathless & Shaking" was recorded @ "The Studio", Birmingham, UK. Samples from this album can be heard on this myspace page.
Adrian Styles - Lead singer:
He started out as a bass player at 12 years old. Tours extensively with rock covers band 'Earl Gray' venue type: universities/stadiums in the UK & Europe.
Adrian has been a player in a variety of bands covering the following styles: blues, soul, heavy rock.
"I always wanted to write my own material, I feel the need to express myself lyricly and musically. There's a great chemistry with the guys in Alias, we have a cool time on stage. Music should be fun - I live for it! I feel more comfortable these days playing rhythm guitar and singing. My guitar's never out of my hands, it drives my wife up the wall."
Derek Wood - Bass player:
Working bass player on the circuit. Has worked with a wide range of rock bands over the years including 'The Steve Gibbons' Band' touring with 'The Who'. He plays a variety of instruments and produced our new album 'Breathless & Shaking'. Derek is currently recording other artists.

Andy Jones - Electric guitar:
After hanging out with 'The Pretenders' in Hereford as a youth, Andy moved up to Birmingham and his talents as a session guitarist and performer started to shine. He became the original guitarist with 'Earl Gray and the Tealeaves' (later to be known as 'Earl Gray'.) He was signed to 'Micky Most' management company, the band were known as 'The Gangsters'.
"When Andy takes a solo everybody takes notice. He is a very disciplined and exciting player. There's no messing with Andy!"
Phil Vickers - Drums/Percussion:
Phil was the original drummer for rock band 'Orphan'. I am slightly worried about his drumming obsession, he has five kits right now and one permanently set up at the studio! Apart from being a great drummer, he contributes live with backing vocals he also plays guitar.
"Of all the drummers I have worked with, his time keeping is superb!"
