    .. .. .. .. .. Alibi is the first in a series of new musicals, composed by Damo, & brought to you by Edinburgh-based Gumba productions. They intend to offer a new live experience, far from the world of Lloyd-Webber & Edinburgh festival shows. Combining a fast-paced witty script, entertaining characters & original songs in the Happy Mondays / Stone Roses / Beatles / Rolling Stones vein, Alibi is the first ‘baggy’ musical. The story is a classic tale of love & crime, set against the backdrop of clubland & chemical indulgence. Following on from its succesful debut at Carlton Studios in December, the show is going on the road. Its first port of call is a mini-tour of Yorkshire in early April. Also, later in the year, about Edinburgh festival time, we will be putting on Alibi II - Gangstaland, with next year seeing the trilogy’s completion with Alibi III - Sleazytown
