The band ARANDA is being featured as a World Premier Video on AOL music April 4th starting at midnight and running through the 5th. According to the AOL mediators, they could receive around 5 million views in that one 24 hour period. This is a huge deal we think and would like everyone to check it out, comment, and make some noise for us.
I just posted a demo of my new song Honesty. It's a bit like Everything But the Girl, or maybe like that Beth Orton song Stars All Seem to Weep. If you get a chance to listen, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Alice, Black Angel may be moving to San Francisco soon. We appreciate you being our friend and visiting our MySpace page. Attached are two different line ups of Black Angel. This first shows Black Angel a few years ago outside our studio in Santa Barbara with (left to right in picture): Ronnie Turner (bass player and son of Ike and Tina Turner); Cory Orosco, keyboards; Ernie Orosco, guitar; me on lead vocals and guitar; and in the front drummer, Tina Stefens. The second photo shows the second Black Angel line up with (clockwise from the top) Tedy Madl, drums; Heather Wynalda, percussion and vocals; Dave Parker, bass; and me in the front with a guitar on lead vocals and guitar. Black Angel has had a number of different musicians, but the band moves ahead with two new albums scheduled for release in 2009 and a nationwide tour. Best wishes.
