About me: The Alice Martineau Appeal has been established by the family and friends of Alice who died in 2003 from Cystic Fibrosis aged 30. Alice was a wonderfully talented British pop singer/songwriter from London and her album Daydreams was released by Sony in November 2002 to great critical acclaim.
The aim of the Appeal is to raise money for the crucial Gene Therapy research currently funded by the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. £8 million is still desperately needed so PLEASE support us as generously as possible. Too many young lives are affected and, all too often, destroyed by this devastating disease, but you can help us find a cure.
The Appeal has been running now for over 2 years and has held events such as Carols By Candlelight (Christmas service held at St. Lukes Church, Chelsea), A Reception and Auction of Paintings created by Alice's brother Luke Martineau, and Cocktail Bingo (both held at Il Bottaccio, Grosvenor Place, London).
The Alice Appeal website is now ..!!! The site has some great info on it and features an .. store where you can purchase Alice Martineau merchandise! Ranging from t-shirts, posters and postcards. All proceeds go to the Alice Martineau Appeal and helping to find a cure for Cystic Fibrosis.

‘Cfest@Shearer’s Bar’ is a live music night to be held at ‘Shearer’s Sports Bar and Lounge’ Newcastle on September 27th 2007.
As well as raising awareness of Cystic Fibrosis in the North East and money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust, the event offers a great platform for independent bands Malarkey, Show Off Summer, Beyond The Grave and The Longsands.to play in front of an expectant and enthusiastic crowd. It’s a great mix of Indy, Metal, Rock, and Alternative music all held together by brilliant comedian Mat Reed.
Tickets cost £5.00 and are available by texting 07960981721, from Shearer’s Bar, from band members and on www.gigbox.co.uk.
Please Note That This Is An All Ticket Event And Tickets Will Not Be Available On The Door!!
