    Alice Ella is a British singer, songwriter, and pianist. Currently writing and recording her debut EP, Alice is working with names such as Dion Wardle, Pete Ray Biggin, Olivia Leisk, Smiler, DeeJay Edmund, AYO Beatz, Mission LTD, Phil Simmonds, Krunchie Beats, James Welland and more. She is working with as many co-writers and producers as possible, and is really experimenting with her sound. Recently asked by DJ Ironik to write and feature on a song for his new EP 'Independently Unstoppable', the song 'Resurrection' is a deep emotional piano lead song, with a soulful vocal and passionate lyrics. Alice has also written and featured on songs for artists such as 'Redzz', 'Clixx' and 'AYO' all due to be released later this year. In September 2012 she travelled to Barcelona for a top secret recording session ;) Alice had a great time in Barcelona, but can't say too much about why she was there...not just yet anyway...so stay tuned!! Big news coming in 2013!!! In July 2012, Alice was booked to support Jessie J at Ponty's Big Weekend, in Wales, with her full band. This was a dream come true for Alice, being a huge fan of Jessie J herself! After she had sound checked, the gig was unfortunately cancelled due to Jessie not being well. Alice and her band were gutted, but used the gig as a networking opportunity and are hoping for it to be rescheduled in the near future. She wrote and recorded with Mike Bradford, Mario Fanizzi, Nathaneal Boone, Melinda Ortner, Drew Harris and Savannah Lynn. To see her LA video diary please visit (http://youtu.be/h8r27TR2gdI) In Feb 2012, The Brit Awards, along with Mastercard, spotted her cover of Emeli Sande's 'Heaven' on youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENxdlOtgmpo ) They invited Alice to come and sing it for them, as part of their ad campaign. As Alice was singing, Emeli Sande surprised Alice, by joining her on stage, for them to then duet together! This was used as the main advert for The Brit Awards 2012 on ITV1, and was also used for their online campaign. Furthermore it was used as the front page of the Metro, gaining Alice a lot of exposure! Performing her song 'Wonderland', it was filmed on the set of the 'Alice in Wonderland' ballet at the Royal Opera House. She regularly uploads videos to Youtube, having had over 420,000 views of her covers and original songs. She is a graduate of the prestigious ACM (Academy of Contemporary Music) in Guildford, and her song 'Fly' has been featured in a local Brighton film, 'Fire Bird'. She won the 'Young Pop Star 2009' competition, STN Music, winning £200 for her charity, the M.E. Association. Her interests lye within many different types of music, but she finds herself mainly in pop, soul and jazz. Alice has been performing from an early age, having been brought up within a very musical and talented family. She has featured in many shows, and won numerous dance competitions and awards, going on to be in the Horsham pantomime 'Aladdin' in 2003. Unfortunately, she then came down with glandular fever in 2004. She then became very unwell with M.E. (Myalgic Encephalopathy) (please seewww.meassociation.org.uk for more information) After spending several years battling this illness, becoming wheelchair bound and having to commit to years of physiotherapy, in Feb 2009, Alice undertook a treatment called 'The Lightning Process' and claims this to have been the key to now being on the road to a full recovery and being able to persue her dreams. Alice Ella hopes to raise awareness of M.E. and to also help raise money for 'The M.E. Association' She currently does this by putting charity collection boxes out at her gigs. Alice's main influences include Jessie J, Emeli Sande, Ed Sheeran, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, Corrine Bailey Rae, Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys, and Ellie Goulding. Some of her songs refer heavily to her past relationships and to her personal struggles in life, making her songs very personal, and powerful, but, that having been said, she also has some great upbeat crowd pleasers, her 'sound' being a jazz/pop crossover.
