About me:
The motto of the Leo Club Program is leadership, experience, opportunity.............Leadership traits- organization skills, time management, personal motivation- develop when young people complete community service projects............The experience of serving the community teaches young people the importance of cooperation...........Opportunities for growth, maturity and a new perspective of the community occur when young people perform community service.
Helping the community while having fun is the Leo Club Programs winning combination. Everyday, young people in 134 countries apply this successful formula. With smiles on their faces, they donate their time and talents to help children, the elderly and the less fortunate..............
*Ranging in age from 12 to 18, the Alice Evening Leos are energitic people who belong to a community-based club.......Sponsored by the Alice Evening Lions Club, we elect our own officers, schedule our own meetings, and select our own fundraiser and service projects.
Common service projects and Fundraisers are:
making gifts and visiting the elderly,a 2 mile highway clean up, outings for mentally challenged youth,
gift baskets during Thanksgiving and Christmas for those less fortunate, face painting for the community, car wash during the summer, Halo-flight fundraiser, and a Haunted house.
The Alice Evening Leo Club maintains an active social calendar. Fellowship is an important part of Leo Club membership.

The Leo Club along with Danielle Calhoun's Senior Project raised $326.00 for the Texas Lions Eye Bank during their White Cane Day Fundraiser.

The Leo Club made and gave out 150 Valentine Cards and gifts to the residents at the Hospitality House of Alice, and the patients at Christus Spohn Hospital-Alice for Valentine's Day.

Hey hows it going everyone. Hope you are all doing well. Well as you may know, this past HH was a good one. Well the crew of Sylent Ekco are planning on putting together 3 HH for this year. Our frist is in June. Now we are planning on changing some things. This year i would like to use an oldder cast. I need more High School students, Jr and Sr. Now this does not mean we will not use you younger leo's. We will just be using less. So if you would like to be in it, message me. I am planning on attending your next meeting. There i will explain more. TTYL
