I'm aware of the fact that Alice Cooper was originally the name of a group. But it's the Hall of Fame's decision whether to induct the Alice Cooper band or Alice Cooper the solo artist (OR BOTH, as they did with Van Halen - inducting both David Lee and Sammy and the band).

Alice Cooper MUST be in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame"!!!This is why this project was started on June, 15th 2006.
It..s a shame, that neither a big rockstar like him nor the original Alice Cooper Group ever got inducted. They invented Shock-Rock and influenced a lot of other bands.
After the original Alice Cooper Group split up, Alice went on as a solo artist and is still around selling a lot of records and touring.
Spread the word! Every added friend is a vote for Alice! I..ll contact The Hall Of Fame as soon as we have over... well... enough friends. ;-) Let..s see how it works out. And please leave a comment and tell the Hall of Fame people what you think about this. Almost 40 years of success, and Alice Cooper..s not in there? Come on!
The HOF has nominated KISS, but still no Alice Cooper. For this reason, I believe it has flushed any validity it had. It is a travesty, and in my opinion, the HOF is no longer legitimate. They have inducted Madonna, but not Alice Cooper. The HOF is no longer legitimate. I believe the time has come to boycott the HOF. They have nominated KISS before Alice Cooper - the HOF is a joke, so why should we dishonor Alice Cooper by trying to associate him with this bogus group of record industry bureaucrats?
