Hi,my dearest friend,it's been a while ,but fortunatly i am bringing good news to tell you. Last week,one of my best pupils and his band gave a farewell concert here in Rio.They decided to move to São Paulo,it has a more structured musical scene,to achieve better results to their music. This gig had some feature guest,including myself.It was a great sensation to sing a long with my former pupil and friend and being back to the stage at the same time in two of Deep Purple's finest classics.My Goddess was there with my brother-in-law,a cousin and a life-time friend of them.They had loads of fun as well as me,the band and the audience.
An odd thing took place here during the week,a huge blackout in more than 10 states,put almost half of our country into darkness.We don't know the reason why yet.But i know is the lack of investment in the area is clear.Less than 20% of the goverment's budget related to energy supplies were used for its purpose.I was at my parent's house when it happened and everybody was also at home in my Goddess's one.
You had shared to me some occasional uncertainty related to music,i understand you,it also took place to me,that's the reason why i try to keep myself studying,because,like you i am also self critical about what i need to learn to improve myself and to become more suitable to create the music that come to me.

I think stand-up comedy is a better deal; one can insult everyone that needs insulting and get paid for it! I've been playing lots of Afro-Cuban of late.. This is a wonderful song. It reminds me of the days when I first graduated from College and worked for about a year at a great place called Baker's Keyboard Lounge in Detroit (I have a youtube link that commemorates their 75th anniversary on my page). I saw great piano players there from Bob James to Dave Burrell.
Your song is so nice. And the percussion compliments it perfectly. If you put out an album I'll buy it for sure.
