About me: I began writing short stories as a pastime about 20 years ago. I actually thought about pursuing a writing career in college then realized that success in writing would take a lot of time and patience, neither of which I had at that time. I wasn’t willing to make sacrifices to chase a dream and face being told my writing wasn't good enough by the "Dream Killers". As many young college students, all I wanted was a job that paid good money. Therefore, my interest in a writing career slowly died and I settled for a degree in Accounting…boring.
Now, as a mature adult and through my faith, I’ve learned that when God blesses you with a gift or talent He will not let it return to Him void. No matter how long I stopped writing the thrill from the thought of becoming a published author always came back to me. In the Fall of 2005, I made up my mind to pursue my dream, seriously. My first novel, Blessings of Purpose in September 2007 under my vision, Destiny 11 Publications. In the meantime, I share the word of God through, Wisdom’s Gift, a monthly e-newsletter I created for those who are new to or want to grow in the Christian faith.
