Quebec City, Canada - Alien888 describes themselves as a Experimental Techno style group. They make music to dance designed for the club scene. It is their unique style of music that allows for a writer to create music that has a direct impact on their listener. They are an eclectic blend of electronic styles and textures. You can call it new wave/new rave, electro-pop meets star wars. With vocal distortions, funk-a-delic energy and instrumental sounds that I’ve never heard before, its effect is contagious. Your mind automatically goes into a state of euphoria and all you want to do is free yourself of all your burdens and let loose. The sound is pure magic to my ears and to the mind!
Listening to “This Is Your Love Today”, as an example, you will hear a heavy, steady back beat that creates that movement, that energy. You just move to it. You don’t have control. The beat is a dancer’s dream…no words necessary…but if you listen, you might find a genius at work.. “Acid Liquid Mixture” is an inventors dream. Creating sound, in non-formation, non-descript – yet kept in place by that infamous back beat. Yes, these sounds talk to you. However, it’s up to you to hear the message. Absolute perfection.
