Sub-aquatic sounds, psychedelic lil' noises, soundtracks from classic B, horror & Sci-Fi movies...
The Alienaqtor project appeared by the middle of 1999, as a study of sounds, effects and artistic abstraction. This happened at first with very little resources, a sum of wide open influences, and made the first "sonorous drafts" incorporate ambient sounds, electro, techno, breakbeat, house but, beyond it all, uncommon effects, noises and a "rough" touch.
From then on a clear and gradual evolution happened: more complex compositions, where styles were mixed with harmony improvement; the use of melodies derived from Ambient Techno IDM Glitch Pop (influence of e-music labels such as Astralwerks, Kompakt, Warp, Novamute, Planet-Mu, R&S Records and Internal).
2001 - The demo CD "O Alienador EP" had a pretty positive review published on brazilian mag DJ World (.. 3) done by the missing creator of B.U.M. (Brazilian Underground Movement), DJ Péricles. He got to understand the soul of the project which, despite the excesses and eventual elements "collision", had a pulsing life and tried not to sound obvious.
2002 - A second demo EP, "Elektruthfuck>>>Understandit", brought tracks on a more connected way going for the dancefloors, while keeping an experimental mood. The track "Elecktruthfuck", a breakbeat & ambient crossover certainly the better produced one til then was a standout.
Internet started acting as a valuable channel and it ended up generating essential contacts and contributions for the project. On december 2002 the american independent label Moron Labs (from Austin,Texas) launches the compilation "Look What I Cooked Vol. 1: Meat & Potatoes", with 11 experimental tracks - of producers from various contries amongst them is "Elecktruthfuck".
The years of 2003 and 2004 came with a profusion of new productions. The project kept growing in its identity, becoming bolder and stronger with time. On February 2003, another track: "Spread The Spell (Melodik 'Lektro)", made its way through the second compilation from Moron Labs "Look What I Cooked Vol. 2: Dinner Party", as well as two other tracks from parallel project Stumblefather O Pai do Tropeço.
On the two hosting pages for AlienAqtor music on Fiberonline website (links indicated further), launched on 2004, the number of downloads is close to 5,000 hits, showing the peoples interest. And the project has already stood as Artist of the Week there, a little more than a month after the first page was created.
In the meantime, a lot of partnerships were born for example, the projects: Tropic Limbo, more focused in house music, techno and breakz; and Da Sick Backuppaz, on extreme e-music: breakcore, noise, darkstep drum & bass and IDM and other means of music insertion: online radio (Submusica, with the program Core3) and the idea of launching an experimental music label, linked to other art & culture expressions: poetry, tales, plastic arts, video, etc. (Melrah Records).
Since then, many other productions continue being done, most of them tested in occasional parties and events. Live P.A.s with professional equipment and the so-planned factory pressed albuns and Eps are planned for 2006.

Thanks for the support!! 3D Stas - Sub Mutation EP out now! These tunes combine warm reggae melodies with weighty mutated bass perfectly... in one huge urban fusion! Music for people living in captivity of concrete grey jungles with a dream of an ocean and the sun in their mind!
