Alien-Nation started on July 1st, 2006 at the beautiful Red Square Nightclub in Downtown Albany, New York. Despite us pulling record numbers for this area, and being regarded as the best dark dance night in Albany, it was no longer in the interest of the venues new owners to allocate a prime saturday night time slot to our event. Therefore, on April 7th, 2007, the night was cancelled.
So after a few months of searching, we ended up finding a new venue to host our night (The Lark Tavern) and the night resumed there on September 1st, 2007. But unfortunately, this was short lived, and the night was cancelled again on December 1st, 2007. We took a little more than a year off, and spent that time searching for yet another venue to hold our event.
Eventually, the searching paid off, and now we are looking forward to a fresh, new start! The night will now be held on the FIRST FRIDAY of every month at THE FUZE BOX starting MAY 1ST 2009!

I'm doing ok. As ok as a writer can be in these "interesting" times. Helping out with some events & doing my monthly poetry reading at the Fuze box aka The old QE2. Scene here is still alive & kicking. Readings everywhere :)!
It was a blast! Can't wait till next month so I can request thirty more songs to dance to! Also I would like to Thank the DJ's for their hard but awsome work..Salute!
