RUDY ALBA first honed his singing/deejay skills in the hothouse atmosphere of South-East London’s clubs and dancehalls. Work was primarily done alongside The Worries Band, a collective of session musicians who backed most Dancehall acts appearing in London at that time such as: Pinchers, Leroy Smart, Nitty Gritty, etc. Alba has also worked on various projects amongst and appearing with such distinguished names like: Tippa Irie, Roger Robin,Horace Andy,Easy star all stars,The Twinkle Brothers,Toots Hbbert and Mikey Dread being amongst many great artistes Alba has had the pleasure to perform with. After moving back to Scotland, Rudy Alba has been championing local Glasgow Sound Systems: Mungo’s Hi-Fi, Bass Warrior,Argonaut sound and Edinburgh’s Big-Toe and Riddim Tuffa Sound with dubplates and specials. Alba has been gigging around Scotland at various festivals (Skye Fest, Knockengorrach) as well as supporting legends such a U-Roy, Max Romeo, and Top Cat to much acclaim.Alba is also putting the final touches to his album,"DEFENDA OF THE FAITH",an album of conscious, original spiritually uplifting reggae mixed outta Steg g Power cut Productions . AL HOTCHKISS - Young singer songwriter who claims to be influenced by, among others, Syd Barrett, Link Wray, Bowie, Roy Orbison, Scott Walker and the B52s, is not lacking in confidence. But his confidence is well founded if the tracks on his myspace site are typical. From the Link Wray influenced Nuggets era psych garage wig out Channel X (which has more than a few echoes of the Acid Fascists )via Roadracers mix of Loaded era Primal Scream and the Electric Prunes through the surprisingly laid back, cool and soothing Flores to the, well, beatific Beatifics young Mr Hotchkiss backs his confidence up. These are songs that are the antithesis of anything covered in the NME these days and are all the better for that. They walk on the other side of the road to the Kooks, Klaxons and other bands that don't begin with the letter K, without even a doff of the cap in that direction. If you still use words like Freak Out, Far Out and Cosmic or are looking for someone who is well away from the centrepoint of todays music scene (and could therefore be the centrepoint of tomorrows music scene) then look no further than Al Hotchkiss.

THE ARTHUR MONTFORD EXPERIENCE - Born out of a 3 day Jack Daniels, trebor mints and nachos session, The Arthur Montford Experience is the twisted brainchild of DJ Stramash. With over 25 years experience as a DJ, this is Stramash's first foray into making music since the infamous South Wales garage punk band 'Very Strange Machine' of the early to mid 80's. Previously called Kerfuffle Klux Klan, but changed after a burning cross was found on my West Hull lawn, The Arthur Montford Experience pays homage to the greatest football commentator of all time. Believing that genre is far too French a word, T.A.M.E seek to break down these barriers by use of force and a large amount of semtex Stramash has honed his ears into slightly pointy listening devices that have enjoyed the decks and sex as resident with mid 90's party outfit Breach of the Peace and Mad Dog, Throbb and Axis as well as being a regular guest at pussypower's infamous all nighters. He has also enjoyed the odd drunken cavorting in the beautiful fields, woods and swampy bits of Scotland especially at the Letham Free Festival. Stramash has played with acts as diverse as Splodgenessabounds, Spiral Tribe, Hardfloor,Dave Clark, Paris Angels and recently performed a dj/live set at The Outsider Festival Their influences range from '80s electronica such as Ultravox (Johnn Foxx era, not that wee poncey sidekick of bob geldof) and Cabaret Voltaire through to the darker side of noughties electro with a nice sprinkling of Scottish deity Ivor Cutler. They like breaking into Zoo's and playing extended laptop sets to the bewildered animals and hope to plan a world tour very soon where they will play famous zoological gardens around the globe. When they are not doing musicaly things,T.A.M.E like to relax by throwing peanuts at policemen and whistling medleys of Lonnie Donegan numbers.

FIN-RAY :
FIN-RAY are from Glasgow, Scotland and have been performing and recording under this name for two years. Icky and Paul first met playing percussion for TEST DEPT in 1990 and went on to form CLAN SPAMBORSKEE which eventually developed into FREE RADICALS towards the end of the 20th century, this was after many line up changes. They next started FIN-RAY to experiment with their love of 60's Garage Punk, Rockabilly and Psychedelia. FIN-RAY have been gigging in and around Glasgow and are aiming to take their show further afield upon completion of their first album.

From the ashes of Hellraiser, the club at the barrowland where the barbie doll murderers were almost murdered for real by a psychotic gang of no brains nazi skinheads. the dolls didn't play any of the fascist oi music which these sub-humans craved but gave them some crass and discharge, to which the no-brainers stomped about to anyway. By a strange quirk of fate, the dolls then became pupeteers and the climax to a six month career talking through little furry animals was a show at the faslane submarine base on the clyde where this pair of degenerate dope smoking anarchists proceeded to entertain the children of admiral yankee doodle not so dandy and his merry men with some freaked out subversity. (the kids loved it, the nazi stormtroopers didn't understand it and of course, hated it.) They bloody didn't even offer our heroes a cup of tea, just confirms how civilised soldier boys are. Now after a layoff of twenty years the troops have remustered and are back in their finest finery. Now called Bangkok northern they are no longer on the wheels of steel but are now on the wheels of a strange modernist technological beat of something or other.

man-made sputnik was placed into orbit by a rocket vehicle from Baikonur
spaceport. A radio beacon was installed on a board of sputnik for monitoring
