Combining elements from Metal and Hardcore all the way to Pop and Punk. A Light Divided is a genre-smashing band from Winston-Salem, NC. Made up of two groups of long time friends and local musicians - Guitarists - James Lewis and Eric Humiston, Drummer - Adam Smith, and Bassist - Mike Underwood , and with the addition of New Jersey native and Vocalist Jaycee Clark,
A Light Divided seeks to redefine the term "post-hardcore" and prove that having a female rock vocalist isn't just a gimmick.
Having played more than 120 shows in their first 2 years in support of their debut full length release "BEFORE THE FALL". A Light Divided has quickly become a name everyone knows. Their loyal fan base continues to expand with each high energy performance.

I'm interested in purchasing every show that A Light Divided has done at the Somewhere Else Tavern, including all future shows at SWET. I haven't gotten a chance to buy the full length cd yet. Jaycee, I just want to say that you are truly an inspiration. you are so very confident in what you do! I sing a lot, but not in front of people... I don't have the self esteem that I need to stand up in front of people and sing. I am amazed at how high your self esteem is. You're very pretty, and your voice is amazing... and on another note, your sense of style is ROCKIN! My friend and I were admiring your shirt and pants.(: Anyways, y'all's music is out of this world, I was intrigued at the sensual guitar riffs and the screams with the vocals knocked me off my feet.
