(ENGLISH BELOW) Mi trabajo refleja una investigación acerca del sonido como punto de partida en tanto movimiento. Con esta idea, genero imágenes de diferentes maneras: imágenes sonoras relacionadas muchas veces con el espacio físico en el que se manifiestan e imágenes que tienen que ver con otras formas de expresión como la danza, la poesía, el teatro, el video.
Me interesa la búsqueda de nuevas sonoridades a través de técnicas de interpretación contemporáneas y el uso de la tecnología. La música mexicana es otro aspecto que exploro, estableciendo una relación muy estrecha con estos lenguajes y herramientas.

Estudió percusiones en México y en Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass. En donde también realizó estudios de música para cine al obtener una beca de la institución y la beca Fulbright- García Robles.
Ha tomado diversos cursos de música contemporánea y nuevas tecnologías con compositores de reconocido prestigio internacional.
Fue ganadora del concurso Remodela con Nosotros del Goethe Institut Mexiko 2005.
Ha recibido becas, apoyos y reconocimientos de Instituciones como CIM/UNESCO, Centro para la Difusión de la Música Contemporánea/LIEM, Madrid, España, Fondo Cultural BBVA Bancomer, FONCA/Banff Centre for the Arts 2000, Centro Multimedia del CENART.
Forma parte del Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte del Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes emisión 2005.
Sus obras están incluidas en CDs editados por diferentes instituciones y sellos discográficos.
Su trabajo se ha presentado en diversos festivales y espacios de música contemporánea como: Festival Interacional Cervantino Guanajuato, Méx. 2009, XXXI For Internacional de Música Nueva 2009, La Habitación del Ruido Universidad Claustro de Sor Juana, México 2008; Spark Festival of Electronics Music and Arts Minneapolis 2008; Festival SICMF Seúl 2007; Festival ''SYNTHESE'' Bourges 2007. Desde 1983, ha colaborado como compositora en trabajos interdisiplinarios presentandose estas obras tanto en México como en el extranjero.

My work reflects an investigation of sound in relationship to movement. With this idea in mind, I generate images associated with the sound of the physical space in which they occur and I also generate images related to dance, poetry, drama, video.
I am interested using technology and contemporary techniques in composition to create sound design. I am also interested in exploring Mexican music using these same technological tools for composition.
RESUME
Born in Mexico City, She studied percussion in México and at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass. Where She also studied Film Scoring, thanks to a Berklee College of Music Scholarship and a Fulbright-García Robles grant. She has taken several courses on new technologies and contemporary music with composers internationally recognized.
She has received grants such as: Mexican Found for Culture and Arts (CONACULTA/ FONCA), BBVA Bancomer, Banff Centre for the Arts, Alberta, Canada. Since 2006 She became a member of the Mexican Endowment for the Arts and Culture, from Mexican Found for Culture and Arts FONCA, 2005.
In the same year, She was the winner of the Goethe Institut- Mexiko competition “Remodela con Nosotros”.
Some of her pieces had been included in CDs edited and produced by diferent institutions and lavels.
Besides her personal work, She has collaborated since 1983 with theater directors, choreographers and visual artist presenting these works in Mexico and abroad.
