I have been heavily influenced by the deep, dubby and soulful New York Deep House scene, freestyle jazz, hiphop, spoken word or early Detroit techno, through to the very stripped down works of Plastikman and Bell and the interesting and amazingly creative glitchy funk of early Villalobos, Akufen, Mathew Herbert, Robag Wruhme, Isolee, Pheek etc. regardless of what people say, dance music is stronger than ever and only gets stronger. it's just the people that weaken.

Growing up in the forest, I would spend most of my time submerged in exciting electronic music, getting deeper into house music. Reading about the lives of Johannes Itten or Wassily Kandinsky, Camden market, record shopping, sailing, experimenting in the kitchen, listening to freestyle jazz and going to warehouse raves.
