I grew up taking piano lessons. At the age of twelve, I had an intense summer camp crush on this boy who played guitar. It's a good thing my love was unrequited; I returned home from camp feeling like a big dork and decided that piano wasn't a cool (or mobile) enough instrument. I told my mom I wanted to start playing guitar, and picked one up. Six years into it, I finally started writing songs. Fifteen years later here I am and I'd like to thank Collin, wherever he is, for not liking me back.
