|
| Bio | Alison Bice really wanted to change ‘Biography’ on her Myspace page to read ‘Biceography’… but it didn’t happen. This is her story.
23yr old Melbourne based comedian, Alison Bice has often been described as dark, absurd and highly original. Since making it to the national final of the prestigious RAW Comedy competition in 2005, Bice has made a definite mark on the Australian Comedy Scene.
Alison has made several stand-up appearances on The Comedy Channel’s Stand Up Australia, performed in a Webisode of ABC’s Very Small Business and this year will also be appearing in an episode of the second series of ABC’s The Librarians.
You may have heard Alison as a guest presenter or interviewed on just about every radio station in Melbourne including; Triple JJJ, Nova FM, Fox FM, Triple RRR or 774 ABC.
2009 will be Alison’s fifth Comedy Festival. 2007 saw her receive a Moosehead Award for the Wizard of Bice which she also took to the wondrous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Last year she performed alongside fellow comedian, Celia Pacquola in Celia Paquola in… Hating Alison Bice which enjoyed a critically acclaimed season at Trades Hall
