Hello! I am Alison! I grew up in Janesville, CA. After 8th grade I was moved to Roseville where I completed highschool at Oakmont! My whole life I have loved music, it has always been so inspiring to me. Never in a million years would I have thought I could work in the industry, because it seems like that is what everyone wants to do and it is so hard to get into. But then one day I called in to request a song....and the next thing I knew, I was being signed up to be a promotions intern for KWOD 106.5! It was so exciting, I loved every minute of it. Being an intern I got to learn so much cool stuff about radio and how much hard work goes into everything to make a radio station! I did my best (unpaid! Ha!) and then before I knew it, Entercom Sacramento wanted to hire me on as promotions assistant! Super AWESOME! Again I worked hard and slowly became to realize that I loved everything about radio, and that is when it clicked, OMG! Radio is the part of the music industry that I would love to be a part of! A few months later, I bumped into the PD (program director) for 107.9 The End and he worked with me to become an on-air talent (the best things happen when you least expect it, seriously! Thank you so much Steve Weed!!!) Since then I have given my 10,000% to The End in Sacramento. It is the most amazing job, and I can't wait to see what comes next! In conclusion, never think you can't do anything because you can. You just have to have your mind set in that exact direction and you can accomplish anything. So never settle! You deserve the best, and should never ever settle for anything less! Dreams really do come true, but 90% is up to you! So live every day like it's your last! Smile!
