Minnesota songbird Alison Rae wrote her first song at the age of 4 (with a little help from Auntie Jill)... now 29, she is still writing songs and performing with the likes of Mindy Smith and Julie Lee.
You may have heard Alison Rae and her 1949 Gibson guitar on MPR’s The Morning Show, 89.3 The Current’s Local Show, or Ellen Stanley’s Womenfolk on KFAI.
You may have seen her at favorite Twin Cities venues like the Bryant Lake Bowl theater, the Turf Club, the Fine Line Music Cafe or in the basement of Java Jacks, at Jim Walsh’s Hootenanny.
