Hello to you all on myspace. I'm one of a growing band of "mature" folkies here.
The tracks you can hear are from my "A19" album, although one of them "Rage in the Cage" is a concert recording of one of the album's studio tracks.
I've been playing professionally for approaching 30 years now, notably for a 13-year stretch (no time off for good behaviour) with Scotland's Battlefield Band. I sing loads of traditional material, some of my own songs and some by various other songwriters.
Since leaving the band, I've divided my time between gigging (sporadic), running my own acoustic studio, tour management and live festival sound crew jobs.
Please follow my website link for more info, more tracks and downloads.
If you like my music you can buy CDs from my website or you can get downloads and CDs from the fab Scotloads site:

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this folk-carol on myspace... Poem 230 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (see my blog for details): CHRISTMAS SUNG SIMPLY
As gospellers have said, Beneath signalling skies, On land dusty to tread, A trough in a stable Was the strawy first-bed Of a divine baby - The forgiving Godhead.
A season for new hope - There then and here now; The yuletide of goodwill - There then and here now.
In respect of this chance, Beneath bright or dark skies, Faith's the star that we glance Attending Christ's churches And trying to enhance, With singing and ritual, Our God-loving stance.
