A Minneapolis native, Ali Taylor, 24, now makes her home in Los Angeles. Once inside her small, no-frills apartment, her passion and drive for music is unmistakable. Old wooden bookcases crammed with tattered and worn journals hold a lifetime of Ali's lyrics. Stacks of CDs carefully piled in a corner. Sheet music is strewn across a makeshift kitchen table. There is no denying that music is Ali's life focus.
Ali's lyrics and music strike an invigorating balance between jagged, edgy rock and soulful, somber ballads. Her most recent songs include "Bangladesh," "Til My Dying Day" and "Wooden Box." Each song embodies a gritty, honest take on life and relationships. You won't find sugar-coated, sentimental pop songs here.
An entertainer at heart, Ali is no stranger to live performances. She has been showcased in several Los Angeles clubs: Key Club, Hollywood & Highland and Club Chiller.
A multi-tasking talent, Ali Taylor has studied acting at the prestigious Beverly Hills Playhouse. Her independent film work includes starring in "Penelope," "Professionally Tested" and "The Dark Walker." While watching Ali in these differing portrayals, it is obvious that she has the range and ability to act in a wide spectrum of roles.
Music is Ali's priority, though. "Music is my life," says Ali, "Acting is great, but only when it fit's in with my music career."

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
