History: Anthony (singer/songwriter) has been playing guitar, singing, and writing songs ever since he can remember…music has always been who he is, his escape, and his consistent frame of mind. He formed many bands throughout his life…always the originator, initiator, planner, communicator, and financial support, though none of which ever really worked out. One of his proudest moments being the band, Eramae, but after the band dismemberment he couldn't take one more shot to the heart, this caused the decision to take his music career in a different direction of arrangement, sound, and structure...so in the summer of 2007 he created life and growth through A Living Daylight!
What to expect: Through hard work and dedication, three tracks on A Living Daylight's EP, "Daylight Savings" is now complete and available for downloading online and purchasing through I-Tunes and CD Baby. The three songs range from straight pop-rock, celebrity trashing, fun, mainstream radio efforts such as Sunset Blvd, to sentimental heart-felt electro-pop like The One, and then a final journey to an emotional acoustic ballad worthy of a movie score, called Seven. If you buy the CD from CD Baby.com, it comes with a video of their latest song called S.L.B.O.M. (She Looked Better On MySpace), a hilariously infectious tune, resembling the style of Sunset blvd, that's sure to be overplayed on your local radio station by the end of this summer!
Credits: Riz Story, a Huntington Beach based Music Producer and front man of the band Anyone, produced the song "Seven", which also guest stars Chad Tafolla (Eramae, Taken, Bleeding Through) on lead guitars for the song. Steve Muhic, a music producer from Los Angeles, produced "The One" and also re-mixed "Seven", and Michael Rosen (AFI, Santana, Michelle Branch, Papa Roach, Tesla, etc.) produced "Sunset Blvd", then having Riz Story re-mix the track for radio air play.
Teamwork:The band has themselves have created a full business team, leading the pack is Annette "The Wizard" Starbuck who manages the band and handles all contracts, financials, marketing, and promoting. Recently, the band leased an office in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles to run the business side of the band at a central location...their plan is to do everything themselves; they're not afraid of hard work. They understand that in today's music market, and even today's financial economy, no one is just going to hand success to you, they must go out and get it!! They'll be doing all the marketing, distributing, merchandise, booking, touring, promoting, legality, securing local and national sponsoring, and then ultimately working toward a large developement and/or distribution deal with a large record label, sponsor, or investor.
