A valid Botanical point re gathering nuts in May *chortles* The phrase is actually a quote from the Winnie-the-Pooh books, used several times during pithy post ironic mixed-metaphor quips by the Kafka of stuffed toys : Eeyore. Offhand the only example I can recall properly is something along the lines of... "We can look for the North Pole, or we can play 'Here we go gathering Nuts in May' with the end part of an ants nest. It's all the same to me"
