TEAM ALL ABOUT THE MUSIC is a professional publicity, management, and booking company that specializes in heavy metal, and was created by Alex Gilbert in September 2008. Alex completed internships at Prosthetic Records, Earache Records and Roadrunner Records, and also writes for SMNnews, Ultimate-Guitar, Killer Tours, and The Metal Minute.
Rick Fortier has completed internships at Victory Records and Heavy Hitter Inc. Both Alex and Rick are enrolled in the Music Industry Management program at Ferris State University, and is an active member of Music Industry Management Association, which functions as a model production company. Hailing from Maryland, melodic metal monsters FALLEN MARTYR deliver an expertise attack in fret board wizardry, epic song structure, and metal theory. Beginning their reign in 2005 with Doug Albers (bass) and Gabriel Luis (lead guitar), the duo tapped vocalist Ryan Rawlings, who spent much time perfecting his trade at the Musician’s Institute in Hollywood, where now Rawlings [Ryan] can really let loose his classically trained vocal range. Following this, Michael Gerlach (second guitar) and Jake Ford (drums) entered the picture, and the young shredders began work on their first EP, The Six Roots Of True Will.
Propelling ever since, FALLEN MARTYR won the right to play the main stage of the Summer Slaughter Tour in Baltimore. FALLEN MARTYR have been continuously building their name, and becoming a dominant force in the metal scene.
Released on June 5, 2009, The Six Roots Of True Will combines modern American metal, Euro power metal, and hints of progressive and thrash metal. Taking influence from the classic work of Dream Theater, Testament and Arch Enemy, and inhibiting modern day influences like Into Eternity and Mutiny Within, FALLEN MARTYR takes genuine sincerity to craft an album worth of powerful, and meaningful songs.
“All In” shows the beast in FALLEN MARTYR, unleashing technical assaults, memorable melodies, and catchy hooks. Rawlings [Ryan] shifts vocal styles with ease from manic screaming to harmonized falsetto authority with his mighty pipes, and the guitar teamwork presents itself as skilled shredders who can compete with many of the big dogs.
