   About Allan Stelmach

This is just me. I've made this page to get my own work on the web separately from other interests. The most significant of these is my band The Big Blue, which you can visit at myspace here or our own website here.

I hope you like what you hear. I've only just started trying to build a catalogue of independent music, so although currently thin on the ground, this page will hopefully continue to grow. I'm very keen to hear what anyone thinks of the music here, so please comment/message your views, good or bad.

Steady Steady was produced with Ableton Live5. Playing Out At Armies was recorded by my good friend Peter Hill, using Pro Tools, who also added the instrumentation additional to my guitar and vocals using Reason. Never Leave, penned by myself, was performed and recorded by my band The Big Blue and I, for our second EP 'A Small Drop In The Ocean', at Host Studios, Leeds - engineered by Andy Bell of Drawing Board Productions.

I'm currently very interested in writing instrumental music for film and television, so if anyone reading this has a project they'd like some original music for - however small a project that may be - please get in touch.

Thanks for the add. Remember, if you like the movie, then go to mtvu.com to vote for it as your favorite film. And you can vote as many times as you want. So if you can just go ahead and vote a minimum of 10 or 20 times right away, it'd be awesome! Thanks. http://www.mtvu.com/on_mtvu/movie_awards/2006/

Hi Allan....I really like your band sweetie. It reminds me of my friend Matt's band called Lambchop. Very full rich sounds. Thank you for finding me. Enjoy the day.
