In between being poster artist to the greatest musicians on the planet, a.minor researches the life of her great-great-great aunt Marie Louise Menard Clemens (1863-1956). Here is a quote from her autobiography, published in 1954:
"Our Destiny is written in the stars. For there we find the External and Internal conditions which afford the determination of our actions, and though man cannot escape his Ruling Destiny, he has the choice of two paths, and it is in his power to follow either. Those who believe in Karma or the law of compensation have to believe in Destiny, which from birth to death man IS weaving around himself as a spider weaves his web; and this Destiny is guided by the Heavenly Voice of the Invisible Prototype, or by our Astral or Inner Man, who is but too often our evil genius. Both of these lead on the outward man, and from the beginning the Implacable Law of Compensation steps in and takes its course. When the last strand is woven, man finds himself completely under the Empire of this Self-made Destiny, and this is Karma."

Hey-not sure im gonna make it tonight...I know Im being a bum..but I have been going non stop through this past weekend with Spearhead on Fri...then Seth Yac after that...then Return to Forever at a Jazz Fest at SPAC..totally wiped and broke. But tell those guys they need to get out of Boston and NYC more and come visit us in VT again! Maybe I'll catch ya at a show soon

Hey Lady!!!!! Yeah!!! Holy WOW!!!! I've never seen anything like it before....and I've seen some intense storms!!!!! We had to drive from Braintree School to home, and I wasn't sure we were gonna make it!! There was so much lightning that our eyes could hardly adjust to see the dang road!!! And that's no exagerrating!!! I wish we could have videoed the whole thing!!! Truly amazing, awesome power!!! Once we were safely (!?!) home, we just watched in awe....there was hardly a pause between lightning strikes for over an hour! I can't even imagine what it looked like at Zac's place way up on the top of the mountain!! How's that kitty you mentioned? I hope all is well..? Some of the best kitties I've ever had found me just when I needed them most! ;^) What a gorgeous, brilliant, peacful day today!!! Phew!!! Mia
