We collectively enjoy mystery drinks, impromptu dance parties, intoxicated versions of outburst, scattergories, catchphrase or other word games; haunted house tours, international travel, The International House of Pancakes, Interstate 287, Interpol, and many other inter-associated things.
What we're doing: We are trying to raise money for research of Desmoid Tumors for our friend, Pilar Kerr, in cooperation with the LiveStrong foundation (www.livestrong.org) and the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation (www.dtrf.com). We hosted fundraisers throughout the summer of 2007 and everyone who came out had a blast! We all shed a tear or two among the fun, and we'll never forget all the great times. If you'd like to help in 2008, we'd just love to have you! We like people who like to help. And you'll probably get a free LiveStrong bracelet and maybe even a beer on us or a trip to White Castle just for your efforts.

** Oh, and also, Monica is even putting her reputation on the line by hosting parties for Southern Living at HOME (I know, we've never heard of it either - but they sell absolutely lovely things). Pilar and her family have recently moved to Houston, TX to be a more active part of the research of her rare tumors and work more with the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation over the next few years.
