Folgorata dall'ascolto dal vivo di una pianista Giuly inizia a studiare a otto anni pianoforte da privatista.
L'anno successivo si iscrive al conservatorio Achille Peri di Reggio Emilia dove si diplomerà nel 1995 con ottimi voti.
Non sazia di preparazione inizia lo studio dell'oboe e nel frattempo si esibisce in molte occasioni a livello locale.
Questo fa nascere in Giuly la passione per gli strumenti a fiato che successivamente sfocerà nel canto.
Dopo aver abbandonato lo studio dell'oboe al terzo anno si iscrive all' Accademia di musica di Modena e studia canto moderno e jazz con il maestro Patrizia Vasirani.
Nel frattempo comincia ad esibirsi col marito Alle Montecchi in vari contesti e frequenta vari seminari di canto e tecnica vocale tra cui quelli di Patti Cathcart (Tuck&Patty) e Elisabeth Howard.
Insieme al chitarrista e marito Alle Montecchi , inizia a registrare Jazz Prologo che vede anche la partecipazione di Massimo Manzi alla batteria, Gabriele Pesaresi al basso e Davide di Gregorio al sax.
Nel giro di poco l'album sarà disponibile sul mercato
Ora vive a Pesaro dove di dedica all'attività concertistica e didattica. Inoltre, sempre insieme al marito, lavora come autrice e arrangiatrice. Per collaborazioni, esibizioni o lezioni vedi pagina contatti.
Alle inzia a suonare alle scuole medie. Voleva una tastiera ma costava troppo... e così si butta sulla chitarra (una vecchia 12 corde della EKO passata a 6). Per un pò si arrangia ad orecchio poi inizia a studiare con il suo primo maestro a Sassuolo: Alete Corbelli (già Caterina Caselli).
Alete gli insegna i rudimenti dello strumento così come la teoria e il solfeggio e una cosa tanto importante quanto incredibile! "Non è la velocità che conta. Quando suonavo io erano altre cose che guardavamo".
Sarà... però Alle non è pronto e continua a scuonare Rock e Blues più veloce che può.
Qualche anno dopo però si accorge che effettivamente la velocità non è tutto, grazie al carissimo Giorgio Vignali comincia ad ascoltare jazz e mentre l'orecchio si raffina decide di studiarlo.
All'Accademia di Musica di Modena studia con Giuseppe La Monica, grande chitarrista allievo dell'ormai scomparso Filippo Daccò e maestro del grande Massimo Varini. La Monica gli insegna un'altra cosa incredibile "Non devi diventare un chitarrista ma un musicista, la chitarra è solo un mezzo". Spesso le lezioni si svolgono senza strumento. Grande maestro!
Conosce tramite Giorgio Vignali vari straordinari jazzisti tra cui Sandro Gibellini con cui studia per un anno all'Accademia di Musica Moderna di Verona. Sandro è forse tra i migliori chitarristi in circolazione, ha un orecchio fenomenale ed è molto esigente dai suoi allievi.
Frequenta inoltre seminari tra cui in particolare da segnalare quello con Tuck Andress (Tuck&Patti)
L'ultimo ma non ultimo straordinario insegnante di Alle è Giuseppe Continenza alla sua scuola European Musicians Institute! E' un mostro sia come musicista che come insegnante. Dopo anni passati ad accumulare nozioni, con Giuseppe finalmente riesce a metterle in ordine per utilizzare solo quello che serve e a questo punto si va in studio!!!
A questo proposito un ringraziamento speciale a Luciano Buscarini, il grande liutaio che ha presentato Giuseppe Continenza ed Alle e che mi gli ha costruito il miglior strumento che abbia mai suonato!

Giuly was born in Birmingham (UK) and at eight years old starts to play piano after hearing piano's concert.
The next year she enters in conservatoire Achille Peri in Reggio Emilia where she will gratuate in 1995 with excellent votes.
Not full of preparation she starts to study oboe. After tree years of oboe she enters at the Accademia di musica di Modena where she studies singing with the maestro Patrizia Vasirani.
Maintime she start to play with her husband Alle Montecchi and attends many seminares of singing and vocal technique like those of Patti Cathcart (Tuck&Patty) and Elisabeth Howard.
Together with her husband and guitarist Alle Montecchi, she stars to record Jazz Prologo, their first album with the participation of Massimo Manzi on drums, Gabriele Pesaresi on bass and Davide di Gregorio on sax.
