About me:
DISCLAIMER: ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK
While we promise to never deliberatly put any offensive material on our MySpace page, the very nature of MySpace prevents us from controlling all that is on this page. This includes, but is not limited to, advertisements and photos from other "friends" profiles. We will remove any offensive comments, but we also operate under the policy of approving any friend request we get (especially when from Atlanta) in order for word to spread about the show. While we won't make these friends apart of our top eight, their choice of photos may be displayed under the comments section and the "friends" section - and we don't have any control of that.

Alright, I know what you are thinking. Talk radio is about the lamest thing ever. After all, isn't that fat guy who got caught smuggling someone else's Viagra a talk radio show host. What can talk radio possibly offer someone young like myself.

I am glad you asked! That is what makes The Allen Hunt Show totally cool. We talk about things you won't hear anywhere else on Talk Radio...which is good for us here on MySpace because let's be honest, you probably don't like what else is on Talk Radio.

Topics include: So while other talk radio hosts might ignore the 18-30 year old demographic, here at the Allen Hunt Show, we want to hear from you. Join the conversation at www.allenhuntshow.com or live on the radio in the Atlanta-area on Sunday nights from 6-8 pm on News/Talk 750 WSB (yes that's AM radio, but it's still cool, I promise).

Meet the Crew
Allen_Hunt Allen
Hey guys, I'm Allen. This is my page. I am a father of two teenage girls and been a husband for many years. While I did graduate from Yale with a Ph.D. in New Testament, I am not one of those "academic types." I enjoy NASCAR racing (you either love it or you hate it), doing stuff with my girls (which usually includes watching reality TV), and hanging out in the mountains and at the lake.

I really like this show because it allows for me to be real with people who would in all actuality never step inside a church. It also allows for those of us who do go to church, to talk about issues that we are wondering where faith fits into the picture, but typically do not get talked about in church.

Andy_Borgmann Andy
What's up? My name is Andy (my MySpace page can be found here), and I am 23 years old. My job includes making sure Allen stays cool and fresh, as well as providing a perspective from a different angle. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, CA in May of 2005.

Like Allen, I really like this show because it is real. I think the church has a tendency to be "fake place," which is ultimately why many in our generation have chosen to steer clear of it. AHS (ya know, Allen Hunt Show) allows for us to talk about things I know I want to talk about, and see how faith should interact with them. The coolest thing about Allen is that he is all about the conversation. We disagree on a lot of stuff, sometimes the arguments gets more heated than other, but he always is trying to look at things from all sides, and always is very respectful.

Glenn_Davenport Glenn
My name is Glenn and most recently I have been CEO of Morrison Foods based here in Atlanta, but I am retiring at the end of August. I love spending time with the grandkids and relaxing at the beach.

This show was initially my idea. Allen and I first discussed this on the way to a golf tournament (Andy says that would be boring, but hey, you'll enjoy it more when you get older). Anyways, we started talking about the fact that there is an absence on Talk Radio discussing faith and we wondered if there was some way we could fill that gap. Well what you see today is the result of some very hard work, but ultimately a lot of answered prayer. I, too, enjoy the show because of its realness, but also because it has such a compassionate take to issues faced in our culture and around the world.

Hey Allen!!! Your show on sunday evenings is a refreshing change of pace instead of hearing left vs. right weekend blather... As you probably know we had a wind storm blow throw here last weekend, and unfortunatly my local station (95.7FM/1290 AM WHIO DAYTON) preempted your entire show with school and business closings.

Also; the podcasts work GREAT on my Playstation 3. When your on the air and promote them, you might want to mention that people can download your show as a podcast and listen to it on their playstation or xbox. Immagine that; real life & faith on a playstation 3!!! :)

Keep up the good work, and remeber, go easy on andy and his tvs...

Hi Allen. Love the show. I'm on a political rant today!

Have you noticed that when the media is discussing Sarah Palin in a negative way (especially when they discuss her supporters) it's like we're not listening? (I'd say it's 'like we're not in the room' -- we aren't literally, but they are in our room in on our TV!)

They must think we are too illiterate to watch public affairs programs or are running off trying to see if we can find a dinosaur or big foot. Or maybe since it's Sunday they may think we are at church all day or only watch Jimmy Swaggart reruns on some obscure public access channel.

Since I'm on my soapbox, four out of five hosts on "The View" seem to assume that women are automatically pro-abortion because they don't want "anyone telling us what to do with our bodies." They don't understand that we don't view a pre-born human life as "our body" but as a separate human being that it is not our right to kill. Liberals in general claim abortion as a "women's issue" with women by default being in favor of abortion.

I think I've always made and effort to understand where the other side is coming from, even if I don't agree with their position. But the vibe I get from liberals is that anyone who thinks differently than they do is just plain stupid or backwards. Let them think what they want, but I'm not changing my mind.

Allen, what a cool site! You must have an amazing producer who's quite the web design snob to create such a clean site. This will be a good way to reach the younger listeners! Can we reconsider the music?
