Alright, I know what you are thinking. Talk radio is about the lamest thing ever. After all, isn't that fat guy who got caught smuggling someone else's Viagra a talk radio show host. What can talk radio possibly offer someone young like myself.
I am glad you asked! That is what makes The Allen Hunt Show totally cool. We talk about things you won't hear anywhere else on Talk Radio...which is good for us here on MySpace because let's be honest, you probably don't like what else is on Talk Radio.
Topics include:
So while other talk radio hosts might ignore the 18-30 year old demographic, here at the Allen Hunt Show, we want to hear from you. Join the conversation at

(yes that's AM radio, but it's still cool, I promise).
Allen
Hey guys, I'm Allen. This is my page. I am a father of two teenage girls and been a husband for many years. While I did graduate from Yale with a Ph.D. in New Testament, I am not one of those "academic types." I enjoy NASCAR racing (you either love it or you hate it), doing stuff with my girls (which usually includes watching reality TV), and hanging out in the mountains and at the lake.
I really like this show because it allows for me to be real with people who would in all actuality never step inside a church. It also allows for those of us who do go to church, to talk about issues that we are wondering where faith fits into the picture, but typically do not get talked about in church.
Andy
What's up? My name is Andy (my MySpace page can be found
here), and I am 23 years old. My job includes making sure Allen stays cool and fresh, as well as providing a perspective from a different angle. I graduated from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, CA in May of 2005.
Like Allen, I really like this show because it is real. I think the church has a tendency to be "fake place," which is ultimately why many in our generation have chosen to steer clear of it. AHS (ya know, Allen Hunt Show) allows for us to talk about things I know I want to talk about, and see how faith should interact with them. The coolest thing about Allen is that he is all about the conversation. We disagree on a lot of stuff, sometimes the arguments gets more heated than other, but he always is trying to look at things from all sides, and always is very respectful.
Glenn
My name is Glenn and most recently I have been CEO of Morrison Foods based here in Atlanta, but I am retiring at the end of August. I love spending time with the grandkids and relaxing at the beach.
This show was initially my idea. Allen and I first discussed this on the way to a golf tournament (Andy says that would be boring, but hey, you'll enjoy it more when you get older). Anyways, we started talking about the fact that there is an absence on Talk Radio discussing faith and we wondered if there was some way we could fill that gap. Well what you see today is the result of some very hard work, but ultimately a lot of answered prayer. I, too, enjoy the show because of its realness, but also because it has such a compassionate take to issues faced in our culture and around the world.
