About Me

I'm Teague!
The short story is that I'm a musician, writer and film maker. The past couple years have been fairly productive. Since 2008, my music has been featured in 3 plays (one premiering in India), 4 Italian TV shows, 1 A&E documentary about the life and death of Anna Nichole Smith and 12 of my compositions have been used for ballet and modern dance. My newest ballet for 11 dancers premiered in Springfield, Oregon April, 2011.

I recently wrote, produced, directed, scored and acted in my first film named "Bear Trap". Currently, 52 minutes into my 2nd film "Temptation" and am also writing and composing a full length children's ballet about a faerie that has an adventure and am composing for a ballet in Madrid about forbidden love. Keep posted! 3 new films are in pre-production!!!!

The longer story is that I enjoy laughing and having conversations about nearly anything. I love having adventures and world traveling. I value kindness much more than physical beauty. I appreciate personality and thought. I would like to be a better photographer. I like cats but I like dogs more than cats.

I've been to 8 countries and am looking forward to seeing more of the world! Quite a few of my piano compositions have been and are being used for modern dance and new ballets. I'm coming to terms with that while composing more ballets. I also compose for film.

I like to paint mediocre pictures outside on painting expeditions in the summer. I give them away to friends to hang up in their bathrooms. Some of them actually do. I like to read but rarely do.

I like coffee shops, art galleries, museums, antique shops and I like to make up stories about random people I see. I enjoy theater, ballet, modern and ethnic dance. I equally enjoy movies with pop corn or ice cream. I live on the water in Idaho and like fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, boating and canoeing. I feel fortunate to have a few friends who I will enjoy forever. I like meeting new people.

Every once in a while I learn that my music has been used in different TV shows and other programs in the States and abroad and I always get happy about that because it let's me go out for coffee. I won't tell you where my music has been placed. I would rather just smile a little when I hear it. I like talking on the radio. It is almost impossible for me to pass up a piano once I actually see it. I like designing my own concert posters but after they are distributed I am nearly superstitious about avoiding them. Just me. I write music. I make up stories and compose ballets go with the stories. I also write screen plays and have been enjoying scoring a few films.
Influences
Autumn along the outskirts of Tower, Minnesota with the raspy calling of tree perched crows while walking beneath the rattle of birch trees. Rainy Seattle evenings with my memories and my trusty black notebook on the way to nowhere in particular from the Baltic Room or Kells at Pike Street. The burnt stump of a tree on the north east edge of Loch Ness near where the crooked red trees stand among the rocky outcroppings. The ruins of Dunnottar in September when you can hear things from long ago. Changes in time and geography and pianos and places with coffee...

Me. I really appreciate many other artists but do not sound like the ones I like.
