Alle has been playing music since she first began playing the piano when she was 8 years old. She picked up the guitar when she was twelve, and by the time she was fifteen she had written over 20 songs and had begun playing at local coffee houses and eventually clubs such as Walter's on Washington, The Proletariat, and SuperHappyFunLand in Houston, TX. Since she moved to Austin in January 2008, she has been working on recording an album while showcasing her talents at various clubs and open mics in the area.
"I would say my best quality is the passion I put into my music. I don't just write songs, I feel them. Every lyric I write comes from an experience that has a significant meaning to my life, and I want to express and share those sentiments with all who can relate, and I feel that music is my best outlet to do that. My music isn't any thing ornately complex; I don't rely on a backing band (although I would love to have one around since I can't play all of the instruments I put in my songs at once). My live performances are probably my strength, because although I put tremendous effort into my recordings, I feel that my live shows really capture the quality of my vocals combined with the intensity of my passion for my music." -Alle Norton
