Our gyn services include educating patients on birth control options, STD testing, and more. We now also offer the Gardasil HPV Vaccination and the Essure Sterilization procedure. The Allentown Women’s Center is hosting a memorial honoring Dr. George Tiller at the MCCLV church at 930 N. 4th St. in Allentown PA, 18102 on Sunday, June 7th, 3:00pm-5:00pm.
Allentown Women’s Center is saddened, angered, and frightened by the callous assassination of a colleague and friend, physician George Tiller, who was shot and killed as he entered church this past Sunday morning, May 31st, 2009.
We would like invite women and community supporters to come and share their personal experiences with abortion or read stories written by other women who have had abortions because we believe this is the best way to honor Dr. Tiller. We need to hear the voices of women who have had abortions. This latest murder screams to us that “silence equals death”, as we have seen and heard in the gay rights movement.
