"London can seem like an intimidating place, especially when you come from a small Welsh town. Maybe that's why Al Lewis and Sarah Howells make such a good team. Through either fate or coincidence, Al (from Abersoch) and Sarah (Milford Haven) met on the tube one night, traveling home from separate acoustic shows. Having both only recently moved to London, they decided to keep in touch. Jam sessions turned to writing sessions which resulted in a number of London shows together and the Skin and Bones EP due for release 15/06/09.
With a sound that echoes the classic songwriting of the 70's (Tim Buckley, James Taylor), but delivered in a modern style (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stephens, Cat Power), the big city is already holding much promise for the girl and boy from Wales."
Press Quotes:-

Hi, it's me again! Al Lewis has been played on the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast Show 88 - 3rd Anniversary part 2 - containing 12 more of my favourite tracks from the last 12 months of podcasting. Lots of music and little talking from me means I can fit in more great tunes from the past year. It's just a shame that so many other great songs had to miss the cut!

Al Lewis been played on the It's A Frog's Life Acoustic Podcast Show 86 - Man on the moon- has a number of suitable songs to commemorate the 40th Anniversary of the first moon landing in July 1969. One of the songs isn't acoustic, but is a great song non-the-less, and really suitable for the show...

This coming Sunday night we will broadcast the Future of the Left session that was postponed last week, and I will be talking to Andrew Falkous about their splenetic new album 'Travels With Myself and Another', an album that takes guitar-shaped music into a furnace and forges it into fearsome new shapes.
Ray Davies will talk about the new album of chorally-arranged interpretations of Kinks songs and will offer his Words of Wisdom.
Jo Bartlett will be in to talk about this year's Green Man Festival.
Huw Pooh will be talking about The Modernaires.
Please send your music [high quality .mp3's] + a short biography & a contact number to:

Thank you both so much for performing last night at Below Zero for the Re-Launch of Cameo Sessions. The Collective and the crowd really loved the set. Flawless performance. Keep in touch and us updated on everything.
The 15th of June hmmm? Alrighty. So far away. Oh well, it'll be worth the wait I presume. :) I love the way you two sound together. Very harmonic and beautiful.
Best of luck to you guys, you deserve it!
