Nach diversen Gastspielen in unterschiedlichen Bands und mehreren Jahren Musikpause beschlossen Delli van Hell (Schlagzeug & Gesang) und O.Lee Stringer (Gitarre) im Frühjahr 2007 ihre eigene Combo zu gründen. Unter dem Namen "One Man & Another Guy" spielten sie ihre ersten Songs ein und sorgten schon bald auf Parties und bei mehreren kleinen Clubauftritten für Furore. Ihre endgültige Inspiration holten sie sich direkt in Tennessee, Texas und Louisiana. Allein als Duo fühlten sie sich allerdings musikalisch immer etwas beschränkt, der letzte Druck fehlte. Das änderte sich mit dem Einstieg des Kontrabassisten Jimmy Lee, der sein Instrument zwar schon vor Jahren an den Nagel gehängt hatte, von der Musik und der Originalität der beiden aber so angetan war, dass er sich wieder einen Bass zulegte und mit einstieg. Alley & The Gators waren geboren.
Dass Jimmy in all den Jahren Musikpause nichts verlernt hatte, zeigte sich schon beim ersten gemeinsamen Auftritt in der brechend vollen Eden Bar. Von da an war klar: diese Band rockt! Mit ihrer Mischung aus originalem Rockabilly, allerfeinsten Countrysongs und dem Rock..n..Roll der Fünfziger Jahre bringen sie seither jedes Publikum in Ekstase. Eine gewaltige Musiksammlung, die Liebe zum Rock..n..Roll und eine ungebremste Spielfreude bilden den mitreißenden Background für ihre Musik. Dies zeigt sich neben Coverversionen von Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Carl Mann, Eddie Bond oder Johnny Horton bis hin zu den eigenen Songs, die den Original Klassikern in nichts nachstehen.
Alley & The Gators: Drei Typen mit dem Gespür für allerfeinsten Rock..n..Roll. Eine echte Hommage an die wilden 50er.

After various engagements in different bands and a longer music break, In spring 2007 Delli van Hell (drums & vocals) and O.Lee Stringer (guitar) decided to found their own combo. They played their first songs under the name "One Man & Another Guy" and left the crowd crazy. The boys got their final inspiration directly in Tennessee, Texas and Louisiana. But only as a duo they felt musically limited, the last power was missing. This changes after they found the bassman Jimmy. He left his instrument years ago, but he was that much excited from the concept and the original sound of this two guys, that he gets his uprightbass back and joined the band. Alley & The Gators have been born.
The fact that Jimmy in all the years of music break had not forgotten to play his bass, shows up at the first joint appearance in breaking the completely filled Eden Bar. From then on it was clear: this band rocks!
Since this and with their mix of genuine Rockabilly, excellent Countrysongs and the Rock 'n' Roll of the Fifties, they bring every audience in ecstasy. A huge music collection, the love for Rock 'n' Roll and an unrestrained joy for playing this are the sweeping background for their music. This is shown by covers of Eddie Cochran, Carl Perkins, Carl Mann, Eddie Bond or Johnny Horton and also by their own songs, that sound exactly the same way like the originals.
