Music
Music plays a huge part in my life... there is always music playing in my house, in my car, always... Here are some bands I have been listenting to
On the...
...CASSETTES
A friend recently gave me a stereo that has a cassette player on it, so I have been digging through my cassette collection. Today is:
A mix I made cerca 1987 while working at the radio station
and
A cassette of a song that Bryon Garrison wrote for me for my birthday years ago. I'm keeping it so one day when he is rich and famous I can cash in on it!
...TURNTABLE
(Arghhh.. new stereo has no preamp, so I can't listen to the record albums right now...)
However, whilst hanging at a quirky used record store recently, I picked up a copy of the Partridge Family, and a couple of Oingo Boingo albums (now to just get that turntable turning again...)
...CD
in my car (that I play over and over):

...RADIO
• 89.1 fm The Wood (Lindenwood University station)

That being said, I do occassionally skip over to
• 106.5 The Arch
...iPOD
Current Playlist I am listening to in the car (when I am not listening to the above cd I am singing these tunes at the top of my voice):

Movies
My favorite films lately are some that have been locally produced. It amazes me how many great films are being created here in the St. Louis area!
And now that I am working on more and more films locally, I am that much more interested in the indie film industry. Check out the website to see some of the stuff I have been working on...
Another short film I totally dig is Full Disclosure a film I saw at the St. Louis International Film Festival.

More About Me...
This past year has been great, getting into filmmaking with Pirate Pictures. It all started with a short film called "Timeline" shot in Old Town St. Charles summer of '05 (trailer is below) Since then, I have produced another short film ("Bag of Tricks") and a music video, "Recap", with Pirate Pictures.
This summer I Produced my first Feature-Length film with Pirate Pictures called Shadowland (Yes, I AM jazzed about this, thanks for asking!) (check here for updates! )
Add to My Profile | More Videos "Recap" is a music video / companion piece to the short film "Timeline", featuring music written and performed by Mile 48.
Jason has died and his girlfriend Linda is having a hard time dealing with his passing. She visits his grave, lies down near his headstone and falls asleep, slipping into a dreamworld where she reminisces about their life together. Mile 48 appears and sings to her, advising her to get on with her life, start living again, and be happy that she loved.
Add to My Profile | More Videos Timeline is a humorous, sarcastic look at relationships and the stupid things we do to the ones we love. Hot-tempered Linda and spoiled rich boy Jason meet one day at a café, and their relationship instantly ignites - then threatens to burn out - over the course of a few emotional, and hysterical, meetings at the same café.

This exciting short, Bag of Tricks, was produced by Pirate Pictures as part of the 48 Hour Film Project, a whirlwind of creativity where teams have 48 hours to create a film from scratch. Detective Davis is alone in the woods, separated from his men, hot on the trail of a desperate bank robber, Leo Garren. Leo has taken Linda hostage and has made it clear that he will kill her, but he is unaware of what Linda herself might be capable of...
