About me: I want to first give an Honer to Christ who's first in my life. Without him I would have nothing. My name is Matthew Carter and I'm an aspiring model who is looking to succeed in the modeling industry. I was born and raised in Daytona Beach, FL to Jean Demarise Carter-Miley and David Lee Carter II at Halifax Hospital. I’ve always enjoyed art since I was a child, and as I got older I saw the human body itself as a work of art.
I'm a very flexible and open-minded individual who is determined to make it in the modeling industry with hopes of making it a full time career. I would also love to exercise and improve my talent in Acting, T.V., Film, Fashion, Commercial, Print as well as Voice -Over. I am what people call a jack of all traits and I feel I can succeed in the industry and become a very reputable asset to ones company.
I am a very fast learner, which I feel will help me succeed in this business. I am a hard working individual who knows it takes dedication and perseverance to get where you want to be, and I definitely have that. I’ve always wanted others to see me as a work of art in pictures and in person. I definitely feel have what it takes to be a successful model, and I’m very easy to work with. I have the fire, love, dedication, drive, patience, spunk, passion, heart, versatility, self-motivation, perseverance, creativity, determination, will and desire to succeed in the industry.
As of August of 2006 I have decided to put my all into the modeling industry and try to make a name for myself that is reputable. I have done fashion shows, extra work, a talk show appearance, promotional modeling, and other things to build my portfolio and resume so that it could stand strong. I’ve also done these things to gain as much experience and exposure as possible.
I am a very hard working individual and the desire to be successful and make a better life for my family has been the fire in my belly to keep me going. I want only the best for myself so I can in return give my family the best I can give. I am always trying to improve myself as an individual and keep an open mind about things.
Having a positive attitude, determination, and prayer have been the key items to the success I have had so far. If I’m not working on my techniques you will find me helping others whole-heartedly.
You will find me to be very laid back, down to earth, easy to get along with and work with.
My style is my own and so is my heart. My belief in God is strong and I know with his help I will make it. My heart is pure and my intentions are honest. With my faith and determination I know I can take it.
Another thing about myself is that I'm a kid in heart and love my video games. I sometimes have to be careful for folks not to use me and take advantage of my kindness as well.
