the clouds gather up. here's comes the rain along with the lightening.
but it's just too late to look for shelter.
take off your coat, let the rain hit your back and roll with the thunder.
oh, what i'd give for one night's sleep where my head is at rest,
my life's not in debt and i'm still seventeen.
but she creates these streaks of color
that breaks up the grey and puts the blue in the break.
and now my life's so much better.
and all i know is that this is where i belong.
sun soaked and stoned, waist deep in the water.
