| About Bison |

**NEW ALBUM NOW AVAILABLE ON CD**
The new Bison album, Saturday Big Shop, can now be ordered on CD, with a nice 12 page booklet with all lyrics and photos and that, here:
www.allhailthebison.com (click on 'shop')
Please, unless you live in America, don't order the CD through CD Baby. Go to our website instead and avoid paying for pointless, planet-killing shipment across the Atlantic. Use CD Baby for mp3 downloads only.
Cheers!
A word about the Herd...
Bison are a nine-piece, horns-front, hoof-stomping beast, the hardest working band in Sheffield, and masters of the ancient and noble art of party-starting.
Since their inception in 2004, Bison’s legendary live shows have earned them a dedicated following all over the UK and beyond, culminating in five triumphant gigs at Glastonbury this year. Hundreds of confused festival-goers stumbled in to see what all the fuss was about these orange-clad jokers, and ended up dancing and grinning their way to a Glastonbury Moment™.
Their sound has been described as 'ska with a je ne sais quoi', an updating of the soul and reggae-influenced pop bands of the post-punk era with driving rhythms, heavy brass riffs, soulful vocals and a dash of lyrical wit.
With four albums now released, you can enjoy that heavy heavy bovine sound in the comfort of your front room, too.
Look out for them at festivals and more in 2008. You herd it here first.
