I am an inwardly motivated visual artist working with traditional and digital mediums. My artwork comes from the back of my mind and most of it has been born out of difficult times that I have experienced in my life. It would seem that I have an uncanny ability to tap directly into my unconscious creating a link to the archetypal images that are swirling around in my head. My paintings are messages (very much like dreams) written in a language that is highly symbolic in nature. My research of Carl Jung and his writings helped me to expand my ideas of symbolism and has introduced me to the concept of the collective unconscious. These thoughts have led me to see the universality of our existence and the great connection that we all have.
I live with Michael, Paws Dog and Perseus Purr Kitty in Portland, Oregon and we love the rain...
P.S. In case you didn't notice, I'm a huge fan of music, in particular, new wave, alternative, and punk music from the late 1970s through the 1980s. There is not a day that goes by in my life that I don't listen to some form of music...Music touches my soul :-)

FINETUNE IS... a really cool website that allows you to create musical playlists of your favorite music to share with others or for your own listening pleasure. The only rules are: 1.) your list must consist of at least 45 songs 2.) you can only choose 3 songs from any particular artist and 3.) you can't play the music on demand - the playlists shuffle randomly. With that being said, the selection is incredible and the site has many tools, including a player widget for your myspace profile like the one that I have above. My playlist is entitled, "NEW WAVE JUNKIE" and it includes over 350 songs...ENJOY...
