About me:

Hi. I'm Allister Westland. I am a performing musician in Second Life (http://www.secondlife.com), A virtual world with a healthy and ever growing music scene that if you are not familiar with , you should definitely check out. It is through this medium that I communicate my musical passion. I like to consider myself a multifaceted musician. I play several instruments (guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, clarinet and vocals) and compose and perform all of the parts on my recorded material. Music is in my blood and always has been. Right from the time I was two years old and used to steal pots and pans out of the kitchen cupboard and proceed to create my own musical cacophony of piercing teflon coated bliss. I ruined a lot of pans that way until the locks were installed on the lower cupboards. Many would categorize me as a rock musician with an obvious 80's influence but my broad musical appreciation for many different genres will sometimes send me off into jazz, folk, blues and other inspirational tangents. I have played small to medium clubs throughout the Toronto area and have recorded in some great recording studios in the past with some of the bands I have been in. I now own and operate my own small pre-production studio facility from my home and also stream daily music performances over the internet. I can be found in world regularly at one of the many virtual music venues, usually daily, throughout Second Life. All of this would not be possible without the Love and Support of my best friend, manager and partner Ocean. She is a true inspiration to me and my soul mate. I love her more than mere words can express. And to all my fans....You are the best and I love you all.. Thanks! ... See you in World!
