Hi! My name is Helen Allman. I am an artist and teacher, and I have been entertaining at Birthday Parties, Company Picnics, Grand Openings, and many other venues since the early 80s. I wear a clown costume or I can come as a "Happy Person". Some children are afraid of clowns and I understand. We do balloon animals, character sketches, games {Limbo, musical chairs, Hokey Pokey, and Face Painting. Some of our happy clients are: Partyshoprentals.com, Grand Rental Station, Holiday Inn, Coca Cola, Jim Bishop Chevrolet, Bufflao Rock bottling co. , Yellow Brick Road Grand Opening, Ricatoni's Restaurant kids nite, Shoals Hospital yearly picnics, Democratic Party Labor Day picnic Tuscumbia Ala. (several years in a row) Coffee H.S. prom nite, Weeden school, Bradshaw H.S. reunion, several church functions, family reunions and hundreds of birthday parties for happy kids. I taught Art at Shoals Christian School for a few years but now teach private lessons in my home. I have an art room filled with all kinds of supplies. I encourage my students to keep an art journal and a portfolio of their work so they can see their progress.
You can come and visit my studio anytime. Just give me a call to make sure I am home. Well, I hope you sign up soon because I only like to accept 4 students per class. When the classes are small, we can do so much more. Don't feel like you have to know anything about art when you start classes. That's why I'm here! To teach you! Well, I hope to hear from you soon! About me:

Hi! I am glad you have come to my site. I have done many things, and have this site to show my friends and family my talents. First, if you are here to find out about my caregiver skills, I am a Certified Nurse Assistant. I have been employeed with Glenwood Rehab in Florence. I have also worked as activities assistant for 3 years at SunBridge in Tuscumbia and Wellington Place in Muscle Shoals. I am doing private care now, after not enjoying the fast pace that was required at Glenwood Rehab. I have been working with a private home care company, but need more hours. I currently have a private weekend caregiving job. I have worked with clients that needed rehab after surgery and some have had alzheimers.I have helped elderly clients with errands,sitting with hospital patients etc. I am known for my patience, cheerfulness, honesty and encouraging attitude. I will be happy to give you references of people I have worked for who have said they would be glad to give a great report concerning me. I enjoy doing this type of work and do not mind toileting,feeding,light cleaning and cooking, being a companion, encouraging exercise and other activities that will help make your loved ones life more pleasant.
