About MOUNTAIN JAM - A Tribute to the Allman Brothers
The Allman Brothers Band holds a special place in the hearts of Coloradans - their yearly shows at Red Rocks have become a staple of the local summer concert diet. But once a year just ain't enough, and so a bunch of us decided to get together and pay tribute to the boys. Formed in February of 2007, Mountain Jam features former and current members of The Motet, Phix, Double Parked, Aquatic Life, Purple Buddha, Henry Parsons Project, The Crispy Critters, The Cozy Dope, Running with Sally and Last Planet. The band is committed to putting its own spin on the infectious, southern jam-rock that has been thrilling audiences for decades. Welcome!
